The Classic Car Boot Sale

During my time as a Junior Designer at The Vintage Festival, I developed branding materials for "The Vintage Classic Car Boot Sale." The festival celebrated nostalgia and community through a unique car boot sale, where classic car owners teamed up with vintage homeware and fashion vendors, featuring live music and themed walk-about entertainers, offering an immersive experience that transported attendees back in time. Our target audience included vintage car enthusiasts, collectors of retro items, and anyone seeking a memorable day out in London.

Since it was the festival's second event and they already had a logo and colour palette, I was assigned to create the promotional assets. Drawing from a rich library of vintage imagery provided by 'The Land of Lost Content' Museum, I filtered through scans of car magazines, using the scans as graphic research, vectorising illustrations and integrated them with photographs taken at the first event. This creative process culminated in a comprehensive suite of marketing materials, including posters, flyers, brochures, and a website landing page. In addition to this I also helped artwork way-finding signage for the event.
